Infants who cannot lift their face out of the water must only be submerged for a maximum of 5 seconds.

 

Follow this code to acheive safe swimming for your infant.

 

 

1. Swim your baby SLOWLY - never race or rush your swims

 

2. Keep your swims SHORT - long swims are unnecessary and could distress your infant.

 

3. Keep your swims SHALLOW - there is no need for deep swims.
